Just call me Piano Man

Folks, I wanted to give a little shout-out to the legendary Billy Joel while also talking to you about something important, so I hope you’ll forgive all the puns.

In 2016, in all Honesty, Democrats didn’t treat Donald Trump as a serious contender for the presidency. We Didn’t Start the Fire, but we did fail to put it out.

In 2020, we learned from those mistakes. We built the largest grassroots coalition in American history to elect President Biden and flip the Senate blue.

In 2022, we had to Keep the Faith and ignore the pundits who predicted a red tsunami on the horizon. Despite all of that Pressure, we managed to defend the Senate and, even though we lost the House, we outperformed expectations.

In 2024, we know that Republicans will spend millions targeting battleground districts across the country. We need our own funds to compete, or they’ll completely drown us out on the airwaves and online.

If we fail to take this threat seriously, we could lose more seats in the House and be Movin' Out of the White House before we know it. I don’t even have to tell you how disastrous that would be.

Unfortunately, we don’t have The Longest Time until our first end-of-month deadline of the quarter, and we’re falling 34% behind our goal.

And So It Goes that I need your help to prove that this pro-democracy, pro-science coalition isn’t going anywhere. Will you pitch in $25 to close the gap?
