First, Democrats held the Senate in 2020 and 2022 – thanks to support from folks like you who made it happen and stopped Mitch McConnell from becoming Senate Majority Leader.

Then, Senator Durbin and the Senate Judiciary Committee confirmed more than 100 of President Biden’s judicial nominees, bringing an unprecedented amount of experience and diversity to the federal benches.

Now, we have the chance to continue this progress and keep our momentum.

Despite Republican opposition, under Senator Durbin’s leadership the Senate Judiciary Committee has made monumental progress to ensure that our bench is filled with highly-qualified judges who will serve the American people.

But there’s still more work to be done – and if Republicans get their way they’ll end our efforts towards transparency and accountability in our judicial system. If we want to see a fair and balanced system, we cannot let that happen.
