JOhn, we got to breathe a rare sigh of relief last week when the Supreme Court preserved access to mifepristone for the time being.

But let's be clear: this legal fight is far from over, and the fact we're having a debate about access to abortion medication illustrates just how far the Republicans want to take things.

Overturning Roe v. Wade wasn't their endgame — their goal is a full nationwide abortion ban, and ending access to commonly-used abortion medication like mifepristone would be the next step towards that.

I will fight for federal legislation to restore the right to choose every day that I'm in office, but I'm going to be facing a tough re-election in my swing district. Will you donate right now to ensure that the people of VA-10 have a champion for reproductive freedom in Congress?

Republicans have stacked the courts with extremist judges who've shown that they'll ignore precedent and roll back widely-recognized freedoms.

The only way to stop them is with a strong pro-choice majority in Congress that can legislatively codify abortion rights.

The work of winning that majority needs to start now, JOhn, and securing a swing district line mine early on in the cycle is a key part of that.
