Hi John, this is important:

In less than one month, there is a Special Election that will determine which party has the majority in Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives.

If Democrat Heather Boyd wins, Democrats will keep our slim majority and can continue to protect fundamental freedoms like your freedom to choose here in Pennsylvania.

But if we lose, it will give Republicans the chance to pass an abortion ban. Because here’s the thing:

As Governor, I can and will veto any legislation that makes abortion illegal. But I’m not able to veto amendments to the Pennsylvania State Constitution. Heather’s opponent is against abortion rights, so if Republicans win this race and take over the State House, they could pass a constitutional amendment to ban abortion – and I won’t be able to veto it.
