I’m writing to you today from Common Dreams headquarters, and here’s my mood: nervous.

Our Spring Campaign ends at midnight on Monday, and we’re still $29,000 short of our goal.

This is money we need to pay our basic expenses, like rent, utilities, server costs, and staff salaries. We’ve never not paid a bill. We’ve never laid off even a single worker. And we don’t plan to start now.
