These targets are also in states and regions where strong, established Swing Left local groups and volunteers have been building voter contact infrastructure and supporting district-level organizing for years. The threat of MAGA extremism is increasing with radical Republicans actively working to strip away voting rights, roll back LGBTQ+ rights, reduce access to affordable health care, and destroy public education. 

GOP-controlled legislatures continue to pass looser gun laws that exacerbate our gun violence epidemic and harm our communities. They’re banning books and erasing history from public school curriculum. They’re targeting trans kids, women, and communities of color with laws designed to move our country backward. 

We must continue showing these extremists that a fight against our democracy is one they will lose.
