Over the last two weeks we have seen people stepping up across the country to make this a climate election. It's been inspiring to see hundreds of people signing up to take materials, heading out canvassing, talking to their neighbours and button-holing candidates. The movement for faster and fairer climate action grows every day.

Now we are targeting candidates directly.

With just days to go, we need candidates to pledge to support our nine demands.

We need them to know that thousands of their constituents will hold them accountable if elected.

We need to make fast and fair climate action a non negotiable for the next government.

Our demands provide a mandate to whoever forms the next Government to lead the positive transformation we need in our energy, buildings, food, transport and economic systems to get us to zero climate pollution in time to give us a decent chance of avoiding climate breakdown.

Even if your candidate has signed the pledge already, flooding their inboxes shows them how important this issue is to their constituents.

If we get them to commit now, we will be in a stronger position than ever to make sure they deliver faster and fairer climate action.
