John, the way we will change perception in rural America is by telling people the truth about policies.
Think about it: GOP policies often hurt rural Americans. How do we know? Because they often leave behind too many voters as a result of those same policies. Policies that, if honestly represented, would not win the vote.
Rural and working-class Americans care about healthcare, job opportunities, and infrastructure like broadband internet access. The types of things that don't fit within a MAGA-Republican, trickle-down economics worldview.
One party cares about the people in the equation, while the other cares about the profit side of the equation. Their actions prove the deception of their words.
The fact is: it's the good work of local organizers who will turn the tide by using transparency in the function and effect of government policies. These organizers and activists speak and act in advocacy for the good of their communities in government, and will let those actions speak for themselves.
