Any working mom will tell you how important it is to be prepared – but we can also tell you that there will always be surprises and bumps in the road.

There are certain things on a re-election campaign that we know we’ll need funding for: advertising to persuade and mobilize voters, paying our campaign staff, and hosting events across the district.

But there are also things we can’t predict – like whatever billboard and television attacks Republicans will use against me in their efforts to flip this seat RED and replace me with another rubber stamp for their far-right agenda.

We can’t know everything that’s going to happen between now and Election Day, but we can prepare for it. That’s why I’m asking you to make a contribution of $10 or more before tomorrow’s April fundraising deadline.
