Speakers announcement: Join CND at Lakenheath on 20 May!
The preparations for our next national demonstration at Lakenheath airbase in Suffolk are taking shape. Will you be joining us in protesting the return of US nuclear weapons to Britain?

We will have workshops, ‘artivism’, performances and speeches, including from European campaigners from the Netherlands and Germany opposed to the siting of these weapons of mass destruction in their own countries.
Speakers confirmed: Dutch peace campaigner Guido van Leemput; German peace campaigner Reiner Braun; CND Chair Tom Unterrainer; Stop the War Coalition convenor Lindsey German; Liberation General Secretary Roger Mackenzie; playwright Michael Mears; and Dr Peter Burt of Drone Wars UK. Last weekend, CND took part in Extinction Rebellion's 'The Big One' as part of the XR Peace collective. We'd like to thank everyone from all the peace groups involved who joined us outside the Ministry of Defence and around the Houses of Parliament, taking a stand for peace and planet and against nuclear weapons and militarism.
