CREDO Voice: April 2023
This month, three amazing climate nonprofits were in the running to receive a special $10,000 donation — decided by CREDO members. After thousands of ballots casts, the votes have been tallied, and the winner is: Rainforest Action Network.
Rainforest Action Network (RAN) preserves forests, protects the climate and upholds human rights by challenging corporate power and systemic injustice through frontline partnerships and strategic campaigns. "Support from CREDO will strengthen our organizational capacity to push systemic institutional change and help us exert public and inside pressure on corporations, banks and other institutions to stop environmentally destructive practices."
We also want to thank our two other incredible partners on this special donations ballot this month, Defenders of Wildlife and Sunrise Movement, that are doing extremely critical work for climate justice and our environment.
