John, I like to get up early before the sun rises.
It gives me calmness. It gives me peace. And it gives me the opportunity to thank God every morning for putting me on this earth.
Every day, I’m able to live my dream because of the life I’ve been given. Growing up in North Charleston in a single-parent home was not easy. I had to grow up and I had to grow up fast. I got my first job at 13 to support myself and my family and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I have been able to achieve the American Dream and God has played an enormous part in it… for without Him, nothing is possible.
However, John, as I was thinking just a few moments ago, I’m nervous that not many people see the future of our country like I do. I see hope. I see optimism. And I see a new American sunrise that’s anchored in conservatism. Do you see what I do? If you do, can you please let me know?
