If you have a minute, John, I want to give a brief recap of what's been going on in April — and to ask you to chip in $10 or more before our end-of-month deadline on Sunday.

Our campaign has recently received some BIG endorsements — including Governors Ralph Northam and Terry McAuliffe, the Latino Victory Fund, the Sheet Metal, Air, Rail, and Transportation Workers union, and former EMILY's List President Stephanie Schriock. I'm proud that so many proven advocates and public servants believe in my ability to fight for the issues that matter and deliver results.

But early voting is now just one week away. So our team needs the resources to work around the clock and prepare for an extensive get-out-the-vote operation starting on May 5.

Unfortunately, we're behind on meeting our latest fundraising goal. Our monthly deadlines keep us on track so we can make critical investments, run ads, hire more field organizers, and reach out to voters. Missing even one goal (especially right before the first ballots are cast) could spell bad news for our campaign.

So will you please pitch in $10 or more to help us close the gap and hit our critical end-of-month deadline in 48 hours? In a race this competitive, we can’t afford to miss a single deadline between now and June 20th.
