This week, the House of Representatives passed the historic Limit, Save, Grow Act.
Our national debt is currently over $31 trillion, which would amount to $94,000 for every single American. While America has a debt addiction problem, House Republicans have the antidote.
The Limit, Save, Grow Act will limit discretionary spending for bloated bureaucracy, save taxpayers money, and grow our economy by getting Americans back to work, ending our dependency on China, and lowering energy costs —all while protecting and preserving Social Security and Medicare.
Right now, there are more job openings in the United States than there are people looking to work. In fact, there are roughly 40 million able-bodied adults enrolled in Medicaid and 64% receiving food stamps don't work at all. If there are over 10 million job openings across the country, why is the U.S. taxpayer subsidizing people who don't work?
It's past time for us to tighten our belts and prioritize getting our economy back on track. The Limit, Save, Grow Act is a monumental win for Central Washingtonians and I look forward to bringing fiscal sanity and prosperity back to this country.
