We launched this campaign earlier this month knowing that it was critical to start early so we could build as big of a people-powered operation as possible to flip New York’s 19th District from red to blue.

Since then, two things have been crystal clear:

1. The grassroots momentum is surpassing expectations — and we had high expectations. Since launching on April 11, over 2,600 individuals have made a contribution to our campaign.


2. Marc Molinaro is tied at the hip to the most extreme elements of his party. He voted this week in support of Kevin McCarthy’s reckless debt ceiling plan that puts Big Oil’s interests ahead of those of you and your family.

The stakes are high, and I know we can win this battleground race. The Cook Political Report is already calling it a toss-up and national Democrats have named it as a top target. But, Marc Molinaro just reported raising $640,000, mostly from special interests and corporate PACs, and we know there’s more on the way to reward his loyalty to Kevin McCarthy in Congress. So we can’t take our foot off the gas.
