California isn’t usually considered a “swing state,” but in 2024, it actually will be the state that decides which party takes control of Congress.

Let me explain:

In 2018 I was part of the Blue Wave class who flipped 7 seats blue in California. It was unheard of how many seats we won. Unfortunately two elections later, only two of us are still in office and running again.

Democrats need to flip 5 seats nationally to win back control of Congress - and the 7 seats in California are the key! Here’s the math:

• 4 CA seats we need to flip blue
• 1 CA open seat
• 2 CA seats we need to hold (Rep. Mike Levin and me)

California Democrats can deliver the five seats we need to take back the House in our state alone. 

The Republicans are terrified about this. That’s why they’re going after me so hard. If they beat me, there's no shot Democrats can win back the House. We have to win my seat.
