House Republicans just passed a bill that would make cuts to programs that support veterans, seniors, and children, drive up energy costs, and wreak havoc on our economy.

This is all part of their strategy to hold our economy hostage during their manufactured debt ceiling crisis.

Thankfully, this bill won’t become law with our Democratic Senate Majority standing in the way.

Our majority is the only thing standing in the way of Republicans making harmful spending cuts, passing a nationwide abortion ban, and polluting our public lands.

But we have 23 Senate seats — including Martin’s — to defend to stop Republicans from taking back the Senate and enacting their extreme, out-of-touch agenda.
