This week, we celebrate every Michigander who works hard to keep our state moving. A strong workforce helps us create a thriving middle class, and the hardworking Michiganders who keep our state running deserve to feel safe and supported on the job. I will continue fighting to ensure that every Michigan worker can succeed.

That?s why I declared April 28th as Worker?s Memorial Day. Today, we honor the friends, family members, and colleagues who have been killed or injured on the job.
This week is Workplace Rights Week when we recognize the benefits of the right to organize, bargain collectively, and advocate for better protections. Workers deserve good benefits, fair wages, and time with their family. That?s why people work?to enjoy life with those they love most. This is key to building thriving communities and pathways to prosperity for more Michiganders.
Hardworking Michiganders deserve easy access to state resources for workplace rights. I will continue to work to ensure everyone is safe, does good work, earns a decent living, and can live a great life right here in Michigan.?
