VETERAN PLANS TO PAY IT FORWARD
After serving two tours in Iraq, Kyle Wickert needed to take time off for care
and rehabilitation but was worried about having to go straight back to work to
cover rent and bills. Fortunately, Kyle applied to the VFW's Unmet Needs program
and received support so he could take time to heal and recover. “Without this
program, I don’t know which way life could have turned,” he says.
