After Bernie Sanders’ 2016 presidential campaign, a few staffers decided
to continue the work to fight to elect progressives by launching Justice
Democrats.

For a team with a small budget, we’ve had quite an impact in the last few
years. But our fundraising has steadily declined since January 2021 and
now we need your support. [ [link removed] ]Will you contribute $3 right
now?

We recruited AOC, Cori Bush, and Jamaal Bowman to run and helped their
campaigns win in competitive primary elections against entrenched
incumbents. And now, this cycle we’ve helped Greg Casar and Summer Lee
win.

But we’re facing an unprecedented slowdown in our fundraising. And as a
grassroots-supported organization, our fundraising makes a big impact on
the support we’re able to offer our candidates.

If we don’t turn this around soon we’re going to have to start looking at
where to make budget cuts. That could seriously impact our ability to
recruit the next AOC or Summer Lee.
