Legal scholars at The Heritage Foundation say the law doesn’t violate the Constitution because it treats all minors seeking transgender procedures equally, regardless of sex or gender identity.
“They don’t want to have to pay the same taxes as everybody else, and they want to be able to control things without proper oversight,” DeSantis says. “So it’s a little bit much to be complaining about.”
The panel uses the theme of “population, education, and sustainable development” to promote population-control measures via abortion as well as explicit sexuality education for minors.
