Here’s the truth: I don’t like writing emails asking you for donations. Of all the things I do as a Congresswoman in a swing district, it’s definitely not something on the top of my list.
I’d spend all my time working across the aisle to pass legislation for Kansans, talking to my constituents and hearing their concerns, and organizing across the Third District if I could.
But the fact is, everything we do on our campaign costs money to get done. And once again in 2024, we’re a top target of National Republicans, which means they’re going to pour millions of dollars into our district to take us down.
We’ve heard it loud and clear: People want their rights to be protected. But the attacks aren’t going away. The other side has made it clear that despite the majority of Americans supporting reproductive health care access, they will not stop until we have a nationwide abortion ban.
We must remain vigilant to stop the worst from happening. It’s been exciting to see people across our state make their voices heard in every aspect of our society. You are responsible for our success in defeating August’s anti-choice ballot measure, winning reelection in November, and more.
