As a mother raising two daughters in Florida, this has been one of toughest months I can remember. Knowing that my daughters are growing up in a state that has completely stripped women of our bodily autonomy is not just infuriating, it’s devastating.
But watching our reproductive rights champions fight back during hours of legislative debate was so inspiring, and has underscored why our mission at Ruth’s List is so critical.
The only way we’re going to change the policies is by changing the policymakers.
