There’s a lot to do before things kick off tonight -- like preparing thousands of pounds’ worth of fried fish -- but before I head out, John, I wanted to talk to you about the upcoming end-of-month deadline. [[link removed]]
I started the Fish Fry as a thank you to my campaign staff and for folks who couldn’t afford to attend the South Carolina Democratic Party’s annual dinner. Besides the Electric Slide and all the fried fish, it’s an opportunity to get together and get energized about the coming elections.
That’s important because if we’re going to win back the House next year, we need to all be in this together -- just like we need to work together ahead of tonight’s deadline.
