The North Carolina Supreme Court has reversed the previous court’s decision to protect NC voters against extreme partisan gerrymandering and made it clear they side with far-right Republicans. Elected officials should not be able to select their voters, which is precisely what will happen now with this decision.

The decision also reinstates a discriminatory 2018 Voter ID law, making it harder for folks to have their voices heard in our democracy.
