Last week, MAGA Republicans marked Earth Day... by trying to gut climate provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act for their fossil fuel donors.

Senator Whitehouse in the Environment and Public Works Committee developed provisions of the bill to help crack down on potent methane pollution, and in the Finance Committee to help make homes and vehicles more energy efficient. The Inflation Reduction Act was our nation’s biggest investment ever in reducing the carbon emissions that drive climate change.

But the GOP is out to repeal these planet-saving climate measures to appease the fossil fuel industry – no surprise, considering Big Oil bankrolls the Republican Party with gobs of dark money.

To take on climate change, we need to address dark money.

We can’t afford to let MAGA Republicans cause irreparable harm to the planet. Can you chip in anything you can afford to help us meet our April fundraising goal so Sheldon can expose the Big Oil and fossil fuel special interests that have their tentacles around the Republican Party? [link removed]
