Last week, we hit our goal of reaching 100 signers on the Patients Over Profits pledge (with 11 days to spare!) 🥳

Today, we want to send a giant THANK YOU to the volunteers who made this milestone possible. We set a goal of getting 100 elected officials and candidates by May 1 (International Workers’ Day) to sign our pledge to reject campaign donations from the corporate health care industry — and we could never have done it without these incredible volunteers.

People volunteered from all over the country, doing outreach, research, and community building to ensure 100 candidates and elected officials pledged not to take contributions over $200 from executives, lobbyists, and PACs affiliated with the hospital, insurance, and pharma industries. Instead, they pledged to put the health, well-being, and safety of their constituents over corporate health industry profits.
