solutions that benefit all.

Despite being more than half of the earth’s population, women’s priorities
too rarely get the attention they deserve. Big problems hit us
particularly hard (look at incarcerated women, for example) but our
brilliance can yield solutions that benefit all. Here we find the power of
the Dream.Org way. We put a spotlight on the people who are hurting, and
we lift up the genius of people closest to the problems. This Women’s
History Month, that theme echoes through the snapshots from our three
programs below – just as it always guides our work.

Onward,
Nisha Anand

April is Second Chances Month, so we're spotlighting Dream.Org Empathy
Network leaders for their work in changing the conversation around
addiction, especially for those affected by the fentanyl crisis. These
leaders were instrumental in passing the Fentanyl Test Strips bill in
Kentucky. In Arizona, they worked to stop bills that would have imprisoned
thousands of people for decades and dramatically expanded the felony
murder statute. Read more below.

[ [link removed] ]Dream GREEN
This Earth Month, let's do something to help prevent the next catastrophic
train derailment that could put your community and environment at risk.
Join us in supporting the DERAIL Act, which demands higher safety
standards for trains carrying hazardous materials. By signing the
petition, you are telling Congress to prioritize people and the planet
over profits and pollution. Over 1,000 trains go off track yearly, so we
need you to act now. Reduce the risk of an environmental disaster by
supporting the DERAIL Act.
