This Week: At A Glance

Monday, Senator Katie Boyd Britt (R-AL) visited Alabama Christian Academy and met a student who dressed up as Katie for a wax museum project earlier this month!

Tuesday marked 75 years of the independent Jewish state of Israel. One of our closest allies, our women are committed to strengthening and protecting the relationship between the United State and Israel. 

Wednesday, the House passed legislation to raise the debt limit, cut reckless spending, and put us on a path towards fiscal responsibility. 

Thursday, South Korea President Yoon Suk Yeol addressed Congress. Rep. Michelle Steel (CA-45), one of the first Korean-American women to serve in Congress, helped facilitate the address. Earlier in the week, she helped introduce a resolution marking the 70th anniversary of the US-South Korean relationship.
