John,

We’re over halfway through the legislative session, and I am so hopeful for the future thinking about the work we’ve already accomplished together.

With our state’s historic budget surplus, we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pass laws and make investments that will improve the lives of Minnesotans for generations to come. Governor Walz and I aren’t letting a single moment go to waste.

We secured universal meals for our students, signed bold climate legislation leading Minnesota to 100% clean energy by 2040, became the first state to codify abortion rights into law since Roe v. Wade was overturned, and so much more.

Minnesota is strong, and we’re getting stronger every day — all while showing the rest of the country what it looks like to be a state that stands up to bullies and lifts everyone up.

We’re paving a new path forward, but our opponents haven’t gone anywhere. Dangerous and extreme Republicans are still doing everything they can to block the progress Minnesotans voted for last November.

John, none of our work would be possible without you and the support you give us to help fight back, year in and year out.

That's why I was hoping to catch you before the weekend. Our end-of-month deadline is coming up on Sunday, and I just got word that we’re still less than halfway to our April budget target.

This grassroots team has stepped up time and time again when we’ve needed it most. John, can I count on you to pitch in today to help us close the gap so we can continue our work together?

Miigwech. Thank you.

Peggy Flanagan

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have overcome unprecedented challenges to provide historic investments in education, create new, good-paying jobs, and increase access to health care. And with your help, they can defeat their extremist Republican opponents and continue to move our state forward, as one Minnesota. Can you pitch in $5 now to help them stop extremism and keep Minnesota in DFL hands?
