Hi team, Susie Lee here.

Let me tell you about myself: I’m a proud mom of two, a lifelong champion for education, and the representative for Nevada’s Third Congressional District since 2018.

I’d love to tell you more about my roots and how they’ve inspired me to run for public office. But before I get started, can I ask you to make a generous contribution of $10 to my pro-choice, pro-education campaign?

I come from a big family. That’s not an exaggeration – I’m one of eight kids in total!

My parents instilled in my siblings and me the values that eventually led me to public service: Things like hard work, standing by your principles, and loving your neighbor.

When I was young, both of my parents were denied health care coverage because of preexisting conditions. My mom suffered a heart attack just one month before she applied for coverage, and the medical bills piled up so quickly that we nearly lost our home.

I don’t know how they did it, but my mother and father always managed to make sure their kids had food on the table and a roof over our heads.

Their perseverance and strength was remarkable in the face of so many obstacles, and it became my life’s work to speak up for working families like mine. I promised myself that I wouldn’t rest until every kid had a fighting chance to succeed.

So, I ran and won in one of our country’s most competitive House districts. But it wasn’t luck that helped us come out on top.

It was our commitment to a better life for working families. To expanding education opportunities. To fair and equal treatment for all.

Throughout these past four years, my parents’ wisdom has guided me on my mission to serve every Nevadan with compassion and integrity.

It hasn’t always been easy, but it sure as hell has been worth the fight. And there’s still plenty more to do. That’s why I’m running for re-election here in Nevada’s Third District.

This race will bring its own share of obstacles, but I know we can go the distance. Why? Because we’ve done it before.
