John,
From my very first day in office, I’ve been driven to deliver results for our community and nation. I believe it is a representative’s duty to look out for their constituents, not their own interests.
But with every front page story about Members of Congress trading stocks, the American people lose faith in their elected representatives.
To support transparency and promote accountability in Congress, I’ve introduced a bill to ban Members of Congress, their spouses, and dependent children from trading stocks. For too long, representatives have misused their position to look after their financial portfolios instead of their constituents.
My common sense reform is gaining popularity every day, and a majority of Americans from both parties support it. I’m eager to push it across the finish line, but I need support from people like you to ensure I can continue advocating for it in Congress. Will you please contribute to my campaign today to support my important work?

Grateful for your support,
Abigail
