Dear John,
Last week, the Supreme Court announced it will temporarily pause lower courts’ baseless rulings to restrict access to the FDA-approved drug mifepristone. This allows medication abortion with mifepristone to remain available where abortion is legal while the litigation continues.
While we are relieved that science has prevailed, this fight is far from over. We will continue to file legal briefs with the courts to make clear how safe and necessary mifepristone is. PRH physician advocates will show up and speak out against all remaining medically unnecessary restrictions on abortion. Learn more from PRH President & CEO Dr. Jamila Perritt on PBS News Hour about how providers and patients are navigating this rapidly shifting landscape [[link removed]].
It is clear that extremists will not stop until abortion is banned nationwide. You can help physician advocates fight back. Please support PRH today [[link removed]].
Thank you,
