PHOTO RELEASE: GREATER GEORGIA HOSTS FIRST ANNUAL LEGISLATIVE AWARDS CEREMONY

(ATLANTA) – On Wednesday, Greater Georgia hosted the first annual Greater Georgia Legislative Awards Ceremony. The event, which drew a crowd of over 200 guests, was held to honor conservative lawmakers and their accomplishments during the 2023 legislative session. Honored guest speakers included Governor Brian P. Kemp, First Lady Marty Kemp, Lt. Governor Burt Jones, and Speaker of the House Jon Burns.

Award recipients from the Georgia State Senate included President Pro Tem John F. Kennedy and Senators Jason Anavitarte, Max Burns, Shawn Still, and Brian Strickland. From the State House, award recipients included Speaker Pro Tem Jan Jones and Representatives Houston Gaines, Scott Hilton, Soo Hong, and Bruce Williamson.
