Local youth present their vision for Silverdale's growth into the future at May 3 meeting of CK Community Council

"Young people of all ages invited to participate in an interactive discussion"

The next meeting of the Central Kitsap Community Council takes place Wednesday, May 3 from 5-6:30 p.m. in the Rainier Room of the Silverdale Library [ [link removed] ] at Central Kitsap School District's Silverdale Center,?3650 NW Anderson Hill Road.

The council's youth representative, Nadine Dockendorf, will share a report following her recent visit to County offices. As part of the Kitsap County Comprehensive Plan Update 2044 [ [link removed] ], Nadine and nine other students from Central Kitsap high schools were invited to meet with County leaders. Nadine will share what the group learned from those conversations and provide insights into local youth?s vision for 2044.?The presentation takes place between 5 and 6 p.m.?

The public, especially other students in the community, are encouraged to attend and hear what youth feel will make Kitsap a great place to live, work and play, and share their own ideas.??
