BREAKING: “Montana Republicans bar transgender lawmaker from the statehouse floor”
Friend – just weeks after the racist expulsion of two Black lawmakers from the Tennessee legislature, Montana Republicans have banned transgender Rep. Zooey Zephyr from attending or speaking during floor sessions.
And like Reps. Justin Pearson and Justin Jones in Tennessee, Rep. Zephyr was punished by Republicans for using her 1st Amendment right to free speech and protest.
The rise of far-right extremism in our government can no longer be ignored – we must take action to END fascist Republicans’ attacks on our democracy.
