GODSPEED TO OUTGOING
REC CHAIRMAN MICHAEL BARNETT
We offer a Special Thanks to our outgoing Chairman, Michael Barnett. Michael has left a legacy of incomparable accomplishments. We are more than well-financed. We recruited candidates for offices we had not competed in for years. We added funding and Michael initiated a creative and successful “match” program for our candidates. The bright “Blue” county that Michael inherited turned into a light pink on Election night, 2022. Next stop: fire engine Red! That’s success. Our voter turnout was massive and we punched way above our weight. In addition to having victory offices blanketing PBC, Michael authorized the first Hispanic-Republican full-time campaign office that we ever heard of. Totally unprecedented.
Michael also inspired our REC members and volunteers to set up information booths/tents with VOTER PICKS available at the early voting sites in North, Central and South County areas, and he also supported voter registration efforts at green markets and gun shows which impacted voter turnout as well.
Under Michael’s leadership, we faced the voter fraud/suppression issue head on, working with our State Representatives on election integrity, and were highly successful in those efforts in the last two legislative sessions.
Michael’s relationships knew no bounds; from Palm Beach to the Hispanic Community to the Caribbean Community to the Haitian Community to the Black Community. He welcomed everyone into our Republican Big Tent. The donors wrote checks and the volunteers gave time. The Palm Beach County Republican Party remains a well-oiled machine.
Our past got brighter. Our future is unlimited. Chairman Barnett made us proud. He is a man of integrity, courage, honesty and loyalty. GODSPEED, MR. CHAIRMAN.

Kevin Neal is the new Interim Chairman of the Republican Executive Committee following Michael Barnett’s resignation. Kevin has a number of new ideas and strategies to help the REC achieve its primary mission, which is to elect Republicans to public office. Kevin is especially focused on electing Republicans to local offices and developing a grassroots organization to accomplish this goal. Marci Woodward, a Republican political newcomer, pulled off a huge upset, beating the incumbent Robert Weinroth (Dem), who at the time was the “Mayor” of the Palm Beach County Commission.
Her mission is to invest time, energy and creativity in matters important to the community while fortifying the people, businesses and resources of Palm Beach County.
Woodward cares deeply for her community and remains dedicated to representing the people of Palm Beach County. She maintains an open-door policy and welcomes the community's input. Moreover, she looks forward to providing assistance to her constituents and open communication concerning policy, services and programs.
Commissioner Woodward will be serving on the following board of directors as a representative of the county commission:

Woodward was born in South Carolina and is married to her high school sweetheart, Michael Woodward. She graduated from the University of South Carolina-Aiken with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. They have an active outdoor lifestyle and enjoy the county’s beautiful natural environments and parks with their dog Zoey.

TO JUDGE A ROUND OF SPEECH OR DEBATE, MAY 9-11
Please join us!
The NCFCA Christian Speech and Debate league will be hosting a tournament from May 9-11 2023, at Palm Beach Atlantic University. We would love to have you join us in our mission to train students to communicate truth with integrity and grace.
Would you consider volunteering to judge a round of speech or debate?
No experience is necessary! We intentionally seek judges from different backgrounds and walks of life so that our competitors (ages 12-18) get well-rounded feedback from multiple perspectives.
Judging one round requires a commitment of approximately three hours. Your experience will include a brief training video, watching and listening to the students assigned to your room, filling out ballots to rank the competitors, and offering feedback you have on their performance. We offer light refreshments and will gladly provide validation of community service hours upon request.
