John, I'm writing to tell you about a recent study that reveals a lot about the current state of abortion in America:
The study shows that, following the overturning of Roe v. Wade, more than 66,000 people seeking abortions were unable to receive care in their home state -- and those numbers are from last year alone. The current abortion climate is untenable.
That 66,000 people are not getting the help they need is entirely unacceptable, and we know the abortion landscape is only getting more dire, with states like Florida -- one of the few places in the South where abortion is somewhat accessible -- passing increasingly restrictive bans.
So, what can we do? How do we fight back? The solution isn't easy, but it's simple: We elect Democratic pro-choice women at every level of government, all across the country. We put women in power who will fight for our freedom.
