We repealed the disastrous “Bathroom Bill” that discriminated against LGBTQ+ North Carolinians. We’ve vetoed all kinds of bad legislation — from restrictions on women’s reproductive rights to absurd rules making it harder to vote.

We’ve grown the clean energy economy and made our state the best in the nation for business. We’ve finally expanded Medicaid so North Carolinians have access to the health care they need and deserve.

Under this administration, North Carolina has become a better, fairer state, where more of us have access to the opportunities we need to thrive.

But I know that we can only keep up our progress with partners at the local, state, and federal levels who share our priorities.

So here’s what’s next:

John, ahead of 2024, our team is doing everything we can to ensure Democratic victories across the ballot in our state — including helping to re-elect President Biden.

The president just announced that he’s officially running for re-election, and I let him know that this is the year North Carolina WILL flip blue in the presidential election for the first time since 2008.

We’re a true toss-up state that will be extremely competitive, but by investing early — NOW — we can lay the groundwork to succeed.
