"Republicans use debt ceiling bill to push work requirements for millions receiving Medicaid and food stamps"
John — Why is it that when Republicans want to try to cut spending, the most vulnerable Americans are always the targets?
Last week, President Biden warned,
"MAGA Republicans in Congress have introduced a bill that could take food assistance away from 10 million people – 4 million children – and put them at risk of going hungry."
Block by Block PAC is working to elect a coalition of leaders who will stand up for working families and fight back against these inhumane attacks on American families. Donate $5 to Block by Block today and support our work to regain the House and pass policies that put the American people first.

Kevin McCarthy's budget proposal would kick older Americans off SNAP by raising the age limit for those who must meet the stricter work requirements from 50 to 56.
The work requirement is an added obstacle that makes it even harder for those who lack access to transportation, communication, and housing to get the resources they need to survive.
McCarthy knows that failing to raise the debt ceiling would crumble our economy, and he's using it as leverage to pass harmful policies. Enough is enough. Help us put a stop to the cruelty and elect Democrats who will fight for Americans by donating $5 to Block by Block right away.
Thank you,
Block by Block Team
