Emerge has one goal: recruit and train Democratic women who will flip seats blue up and down the ballot and lead a Democratic wave across the country. Can you chip in $5 or more right now to give diverse Democratic women the support they need to run for office in every state?

John, we can’t say this enough: Every elected office has a role to play in defending our essential rights and making sure that all our communities have a voice in the rooms where decisions are made.

That’s why today we’re highlighting three trailblazing Emerge alums who are making a difference on the judicial bench, in the sheriff’s office, and in the district attorney’s office. Take a minute to meet them now!

Judge Shannon Baldwin (Emerge Texas) made history as the first Black and LGBTQ+ woman to run and preside over the Harris County court. A public servant since the age of 17, Judge Baldwin holds fast to the belief that everyone deserves to have their rights protected. She continues to advocate for the wellbeing of those who have been harmed, while protecting access to fair trials for all defendants.

Sheriff Kristin Graziano (Emerge South Carolina) is a 33-year law enforcement veteran and the first woman and LGBTQ+ person ever elected to serve as sheriff in her state. After spending years walking her beat to get to know her community deeply, Graziano is now serving as a bridge builder and ensuring the community has a seat at the table when it comes to public safety decisions.

Deborah Gonzalez (Emerge Georgia) is the first Latina to be elected to the district attorney’s office in Georgia, and the first woman elected in her circuit. She is also the first Puerto Rican woman to serve in this role nationwide! A trailblazer many times over, Gonzalez’s perspective will help ensure her office can effectively support all the communities it represents. She is especially dedicated to ending the school-to-prison pipeline and helping young people of all backgrounds thrive.

John, to achieve a truly inclusive democracy, one where all our communities enjoy fair representation and truly meaningful support, we must elevate bold Democratic women who understand the communities they serve. That’s why Emerge is working tirelessly to recruit, train, and empower Democratic women to lead at every level of office in every state. But we can’t sustain our efforts without your help, John. So please:

Will you donate $5 or more to Emerge now to empower MORE bold Democratic women to run, win, and lead at every level of our government?
