Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. To all the dedicated Iowans who showed up for me tonight, I’m proud to have you in my corner. 

 

This marks a beginning — we’re still in the first leg of this race. I’m a firm believer that change always starts here, at the grassroots. Our message of climate action, a people-powered economy, and taking our government back from corporate control is hitting home in many hearts. People realize this is what we need to do to put our country back on the path to forward progress. They realize it’s going to take a different kind of fight to beat Donald Trump in November. Our diverse coalition of hard-working Americans isn’t done growing, and I’m grateful for your support every step of the way.

  

We’re going to carry this with us into New Hampshire, into Nevada, into South Carolina, into every state across the country. I’m in this fight for the long haul because it's about our planet, our basic human rights, and our power as Americans — stand with me if you are too.
