John: Can I explain why this Sunday's end-of-month deadline is so important?
This is our first deadline since everyone's FEC numbers were published in a public report. And we can’t afford to lose momentum, especially now.
From the moment I jumped into the Senate race, Republicans piled on. Their attacks have been relentless as they try to weaken our movement.
The GOP has made me a national boogeyman. Kevin McCarthy kicked me off the Intelligence Committee. Matt Gaetz introduced legislation to ban me from receiving classified information on the day we launched this campaign. Marjorie Taylor Greene has called for me to be dragged in front of Congress. And right-wing MAGA pundits are singing from the same sheet of music on Fox News and even farther-right media networks.

John, Kevin McCarthy has said he thinks a Republican can win this Senate race.
There’s no one Republican leadership (and Trump) would rather defeat than me. They don’t want oversight. They don’t want me to hold them accountable. They don’t want an outspoken defender of democracy on the Senate floor.
What they haven’t learned, after all these years of attacking me and trying to tear down this team, is that we’re never giving up the fight.
When they kick me off my one committee (Intelligence), I go to serve on another (Judiciary) and hold them accountable there. When they pump dark money dollars into a Super PAC to lie about my record, our grassroots team chips in to build the resources we need to respond. When they call us names and throw around insults on far-right media, we keep our heads held high and focus on what’s important.
We aren’t going to give in to the whims and wishes of Republican bullies. Not now, not ever.
