Dear John,

This last Sunday morning, before my husband and I woke up to get our two little boys ready for church, I was up at 3 a.m. for a live TV hit on Fox and Friends. The show aired in the morning on the east coast, so it was very early for me in California.

So many things were happening at once.

The Supreme Court made a huge mistake by allowing the deadly abortion pill to be sold across the country. At the same time, we are seeing politicians who describe themselves as pro-life cowering from the fight and refusing to take a strong stand for preborn children.

What I said on Fox News is what needs to be shouted from rooftops: Compromise is not an option when it comes to saving innocent children from the violence of abortion.

John, there is no more important time than now to be boldly pro-life.

We’ve been searching for 300 people to step up for preborn children by becoming monthly Life Defenders by April 30. Now, in light of the dozens of “pro-life” politicians abandoning the fight and the millions of women at risk from expanded access to chemical abortion, 300 isn’t enough.

We need to find at least 400 new monthly donors in order to have the sustaining support needed to unite the voices of millions of pro-life people and ensure that Congress, the Court, and the FDA know that we won’t back down. ([link removed] )

Pro-life Americans understand elective abortion to be homicide against an innocent person. To a reasoned individual, there is no compromise on killing a child.

We must help our leaders see this truth: If you “compromise” to allow abortion at any point, you are pro-abortion, not pro-life.

Instead of leading with compromise, the pro-life movement must lead with courage and strength. In my interview on Fox News, I discussed why the pro-life movement needs strong and bold leadership.

We are at a critical crossroads now that Roe v. Wade is history.

At the worst time possible, we are seeing leaders compromise on life and even abandon the fight, thinking that total protection of preborn babies, from the moment of conception, is too extreme.

But now is not the time to compromise. We can never compromise on something as precious as life itself.

Pro-life politicians should always lead with the truth. And the truth is that elective abortion is a vicious act of violence that starves or tears a living human child limb from limb.

The lives of innocent preborn children are in active danger when pro-life leaders abandon the fight.

That’s why I’ve extended our matching challenge to May 1st. We simply cannot afford to fail in our search for 400 new monthly partners. ([link removed] )

We must call our leaders higher and hold them accountable. You can do this by becoming a sustaining partner of Live Action’s mission and work today. Use this secure link to begin: give.liveaction.org ([link removed] )

The lives of thousands of innocent children are on the line every day in America. We must be bold and unapologetic about defending the most basic right, which is the right to life.

Our leaders must do the same.

For life,
