Moms Demand Action

John–

We have some big news to share with you about the future of our movement.

Today, we are thrilled to announce that Angela Ferrell-Zabala is Moms Demand Action's first ever Executive Director!

MEET ANGELA

Angela is stepping into this role from her previous position as Senior Vice President of Movement Building, where she led Everytown's grassroots organizing efforts and programs, as well as partnership work and external engagement.

In this new role, Angela will continue to oversee our grassroots advocacy efforts across the country. She will also help craft the vision for the organization's work for years to come.

We know Angela is the right person for the job.

She brings years of experience to the table as a lifelong organizer. She understands that the grassroots volunteers and gun violence survivors who do the hard work day in and day out are the backbone of this movement. And as a mother of four, she is committed to making sure children and young people live a future free from gun violence.

Our grassroots army is now bigger, stronger, and tougher than anything the gun lobby can muster. Angela's proven she's the perfect person to lead Moms Demand Action into its second decade. With her leadership, we know we'll continue to pick up steam.

We've been grateful to have Angela as both a colleague and a friend over the last four years. We can't wait for all of you to get to know her better: Read Angela's new interview with Essence Magazine to learn more about her and everything she's bringing to Moms Demand Action as our first ever Executive Director.

As Moms Demand Action heads into its second decade and into this next era of leadership, we know our movement is in good hands. With Angela at the helm of our grassroots movement, we'll be ready to lead the fight for gun safety like never before.

Thank you for being a part of this movement.
