Union Brothers and Sisters,
On behalf of our labor federation, I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to everyone who was able to attend our "Day of Action at the Capitol." Your presence and support made our event a resounding success, and we could not have achieved it without you.
I would like to express my appreciation for the contributions of our presenters at our event. A special thanks to our keynote speaker, Dennis Dougherty, for his inspiring words and insightful perspective. Additionally, I would like to thank Daniella Smith and John Loredo for their leadership in the Lobbying 101 workshop, and to Rasean Clayton, Kanika Jones, and Ted Prezelski for their respective presentations on APRI, LCLAA, and Faith and Labor. Your expertise and dedication to our cause provided us with a deeper understanding of the challenges facing our community and inspired us to continue our fight for workers' rights.
A special shout-out to Melissa Osborne, our MALF Mobilization Chair, for her exceptional work in organizing all our volunteers. Your leadership and dedication were instrumental in ensuring that our event ran smoothly, and we are deeply grateful for your efforts. I would also like to extend my thanks to all of our volunteers who gave their time and energy to make our Day of Action a success. Your support and commitment to our cause are the backbone of our movement, and we could not have done it without you.
As we continue to grow and strengthen our movement, we value your feedback on how we can improve next year's event. Please do not hesitate to share your thoughts and suggestions with us. Together, we can make an even bigger impact in our fight for fair labor practices and workers' rights.
Lastly, if you have any photos or videos from the event, please send them to our Communications Director, Alina Cordoba, at [email protected].
Thank you again for your support and participation.
In Solidarity,
