Folks in Kansas and nationwide have shown time and time again that they want their representatives to do their jobs and work for them, not to increase their own political power or get on TV.
Kansans are facing droughts, high costs of living, and need a new Farm Bill passed into law. But what are my Republican colleagues in the House focused on? Attacking our reproductive rights, undercutting our climate law, and launching partisan political attacks.
It’s mind-boggling. That’s why we must take action now to ensure they’re voted out of power.
We’ve heard it loud and clear: People want their rights to be protected. But the attacks aren’t going away. The other side has made it clear that despite the majority of Americans supporting reproductive health care access, they will not stop until we have a nationwide abortion ban.
We must remain vigilant to stop the worst from happening. It’s been exciting to see people across our state make their voices heard in every aspect of our society. You are responsible for our success in defeating August’s anti-choice ballot measure, winning reelection in November, and so much more.
