I have been working for years on passing many of these priorities, so I'm thrilled that we're one step closer to making them into Minnesota law. The Democracy for the People Act will:

✅ Provide automatic voter registration,
✅ Allow 16- and 17-year-old citizens to pre-register to vote,
✅ Add more transparency to campaign finance rules,
✅ Bar intimidation of election workers
✅ Make it a crime to interfere with someone who is trying to register to vote or cast a ballot.

The last step to make this law of the land is to get the Governor’s signature.
