“In my professional career, I served in roles such as, police officer, emergency manager, protective security officer, occupational health and safety manager, lifeguard. In all those roles, I have had to work in a community where emergencies happen unexpectedly. Some emergencies end with someone bleeding. I have had to respond to a situation where individuals were injured and rendered help until EMS arrived. Training and being a STOP THE BLEED® ambassador would help with response time, educating the whole community, and improving my agency's safety culture, which is why I am passionate about this opportunity.”
