by no means is this a slow news week: Iowa caucus results tonight, the State of the Union tomorrow, and on Wednesday the Senate will vote on the impeachment of Donald Trump.

While it all may seem overwhelming, we have to remember: at the end of the day, we, the people, are the deciders of our fate. Because we have the ultimate power - our vote.

Our collective voices will begin to choose Donald Trump's Democratic challenger tonight. By all measures, this is the first direct referendum on him this year.

So no matter the outcome of a rigged Senate impeachment trial this week, keep faith. It's our vote and our voice that gets the final say on the Trump Presidency. And I have no doubt that we will come together on November 3, 2020 to defeat him and all he stands for.
